Betrayal Legacy

the Short and sweet of it

Betrayal at House on the Hill meets Legacy mechanics in this beautifully executed game. Players work their way through thirteen episodes of woe, playing as the unfortunate inhabitants of the house on the Hill from 1666 all the way through 2004. As the episodes progress, players make choices that feed the Legacy deck, which influences later play. Those who fall prey to the evil influences of the house live on to haunt the future inhabitants…

Why we love it

Unlike other one-time-play-through Legacy games, with Betrayal Legacy your adventures lead to a fully customized and fully playable copy of Betrayal at House on the Hill.

Perfect gift for…

Classic Betrayal fanatics. Fans of mystery, haunted houses and spooky things. People who want a co-op party game with a little more meat to it.

Perfect gift for…

Your favorite dungeon master. Your friend the collector, who needs all the pretties. That other friend you know would be an amazing DM if they gave it a shot!

The Mind

the Short and sweet of it

The Mind is a brain-boggling game of chicken between you and your friends! It’s a deceptively simple game of counting from 1-100. You can do that right? OK, now try to doing it without talking. Learn to read each others' minds as you work your way through increasingly difficult levels of cooperative chaos!

Why we love it

This game takes a simple concept and throws you into a totally unique, wonderfully frustrating cooperative puzzle. It’s fast, family friendly and there’s nothing else quite like it out there.

Perfect gift for…

Your family gathering. Your friends who love to pull their hair out. Anyone you’ve been anxious to develop mind-melding abilities with.

Orbis

the Short and sweet of it

You’ve always wanted to play God right? With this breathtaking game, you get to do just that. Develop your ideal universe with careful planning and resource management!

Why we love it

It’s an extremely approachable world building resource management game with beautiful art and a great theme. It’s also made by RVA’s own Tim Armstrong!

Perfect gift for…

The friend who loves to spend time min-maxing their character builds. Lovers of resource management games. People who want to upgrade from an intro resource management game to one with deeper strategies and more replay-ability. Anyone who loves a good game puzzle.

Caper

the Short and sweet of it

It’s time for some mischief. In this card drafting game you and your friends vie for the best crew and gear as you prepare to pull off three separate heists.

Why we love it

Compelling, simple and cut-throat. This game packs a lot of punch with a simple out of the box design, quality components and replay-ability. We’ve found it’s best in its 2 player variant!

Perfect gift for…

The wanna-be thief in your life. Friends who love old-school card game mechanics. Anyone who needs a high quality 2-player game.

Keyforge

the Short and sweet of it

Players match wits as they vie for the resources to forge Keys and become the first to unlock a vault of knowledge. Wield decks made up of three of the Crucible’s great houses, each with their own strengths and powers…

Instead of building decks from cards sold in boosters like many deck-based games your $10 gets you the basics you’ll need to play. The “unique-deck design” means that your deck list cannot be modified.

Why we love it

Because you don’t have to spend resources collecting individual cards, the game is incredibly accessible for new players! It’s quirky and self-aware while still being an incredibly well designed and balanced 1v1 card game.

Perfect gift for…

Your friend who is infinitely amused by random name generators online. Friends who love to face off in 1v1 card game format like Magic: the Gathering, Hearthstone and Pokemon.
